Fundae fundaments for face-to-face lessons
Fundae is a Spanish entity that refunds money to companies who run training programs. Several conditions must be met for the system to work.
In the case of “traditional” lessons with a teacher, their main conditions are:
No cancelled lessons: Fundae allows no cancellation, which means classes can never be missed. Students who are ill, on holiday, or away on business count as absent.
Attendance: Students must attend at least 75% of the sessions to qualify for the grant.
In the case of on-site lessons (i.e. teachers and students share a classroom) there must be registers signed by students and teachers every day.
Online lessons need a record too, though in this instance it should be provided by the platform used for the meetings, such as Zoom or Teams.
By the way, nothing but signatures should appear on the attendance sheets (no handwritten notes, highlights, ticks or lines crossing out words) as forms could be invalidated if there were an inspection. In the case of online lessons, students’ full names should appear on the reports, because nicknames are not allowed.
Survey: There’s an official survey for students to fill out. A copy of each survey must be kept on file.
Material: Material should be handed out to students and a receipt kept.
Tests: Students should be given an exam at the end of every Fundae period. Make sure all tests are handed out, corrected, signed by teachers and that “pass” or “fail” is clearly written on the first page. Collect tests and file them for four years.
